PADI-Openwater-Diver(OWD)
	Individual diving training

Goal

This course enables the diver to dive independently up to a maximum depth of 18 m (in case of Junior-OWD maximum depth 12 m)

Prerequisites

• None

Number of participants

• Maximum number of participants: 3

Pool- and theory training:

• Independent study at home using the course book
• 4-5 evenings with theory using slides (normally about 2h)
• 4-5 x pool training (in the swimming pool in Ketsch, Thursday evening starting at 19:00 and/or Saturday from 13:30 till 16.00 Uhr)
• Including all rental equipment
• Final exam
• Signing off the training in the log-book
• Dates are arranged flexibly and individually with the participants

Open water training (required for the certification):

The open water training, which is required for the certification as PADI-OWD diver, can be made world-wide on any PADI dive base after presenting the log-book.

• 4 open water dives in the lakes of the region
• "Weekend format", Saturday 2 dives, Sunday 2 dives
• Including rental equipment
• Internationally valid certification with PADI is separate
