We have developed a program with which time resolved spectra of oscillating white dwarfs can be calculated. This program automatically takes into account any non-linear variation of specific intensity with temperature. Here we apply this code to ZZ Ceti stars and present time resolved spectra and corresponding amplitude spectra. Finally, we analyze time resolved HST spectra of G 226-29.
